When to Test
Recommended to test twice a year: Optimum time is in Spring and Autumn.
For a baseline result, horses should not have been treated for tapeworm in the last 4 months.
After treatment:
If your horse receives a borderline or moderate/high result, it is recommended that a follow-up test be performed 3 months after treatment.
Want to check the efficacy of your dewormer on tapeworm? Repeat the test 2 months post-treatment.
Regular testing ensures your equine’s parasite management plan stays accurate and effective year-round.
